Strength Has
A Second Prime
Second Prime Strength exists to challenge the idea that aging means decline. Strength, discipline, and resilience don’t disappear with time—they require intention, structure, and smarter systems.
Built on lived transformation after 50, Second Prime Strength combines intelligent training, anti-aging principles, and NeuroStrength™ systems to help men over 40 rebuild strength that lasts.
My Story
From hospital bed to bodybuilding champion at 52. How one decision rebuilt everything.
Proof Before
Principles
Second Prime Strength wasn't built from theory. It was built from lived experience.
After 50, the founder of Second Prime Strength rebuilt his body, strength, and discipline—rejecting the narrative that decline is unavoidable with age. That transformation became the foundation for a system designed to help men start earlier and train smarter.
The result is NeuroStrength™—a structured approach that trains the brain, nervous system, and body together so strength becomes sustainable, not temporary.
The Journey
Five decades of transformation
Finding Structure Through Training
My passion for exercise began in my teens, at a time when I had very little structure or direction in my life. Through my brother-in-law, a professional NHL hockey player, I discovered structured training. The gym became more than a place to work out—it became a proving ground for discipline, accountability, and self-respect.
Competitive Bodybuilding
That passion carried me into bodybuilding competition. The structure, focus, and pursuit of excellence lit a fire in me. Competing gave me goals, clarity, and a deep respect for what the human body and mind can accomplish when aligned. Those years instilled lessons that would stay with me forever.
The Drift
As life evolved, my priorities shifted toward raising a family and building a business. Somewhere along the way, the discipline that once defined me faded into the background. Training became inconsistent. Nutrition slipped. Stress replaced structure. Binge eating became a coping mechanism. Alcohol became a crutch.
The Reckoning
Everything came to a head when I found myself in the hospital. That moment forced me to confront a reality I could no longer ignore: if something didn't change, my future would be defined by decline rather than strength. That moment stripped away excuses and made one truth painfully clear—my life depended on change.
Overall Masters Champion
One year after lying in a hospital bed, I stepped back on stage at 52 years old and became the Overall Masters Champion at one of the largest bodybuilding competitions in Canada. That moment wasn't about the trophy—it was confirmation that identity can be rebuilt, habits can be rewired, and a second prime is not only possible—it's earned.
Rebuilding the Mindset. Reclaiming the Identity.
The real transformation begins in the mind
Neuroplasticity in Action
What I didn't fully understand at the time was that my comeback wouldn't start with my body—it would start with my mind and my identity. I began focusing on small, repeatable habits: training at the same time, eating with intention, removing triggers, and breaking patterns that had kept me stuck for years.
Without realizing it, I was applying the core principles of what I now call neurostrength—using repetition, structure, and intentional habit design to rewire behavior. Each disciplined action reinforced a new identity: someone who keeps promises to himself, someone who trains, someone who lives with structure.
Accountability Changes Everything
One of the most important decisions I made was signing on with a lifestyle coach. Having expert guidance for training and nutrition removed guesswork, but more importantly, it introduced accountability. I was no longer relying on motivation—I was supported by a system and someone who expected consistency from me.
I also set a clear goal—because goals matter. I committed to returning to the bodybuilding stage within one year. That goal gave every workout meaning, every meal purpose, and every hard day context. It wasn't about nostalgia or ego—it was about proving to myself that long-term discipline was still possible.

The Origin of Second Prime Strength
From personal transformation to coaching methodology
The Proof of Concept
That championship wasn't the finish line—it was the proof of concept. What became clear to me was that my transformation wasn't the result of a special workout, extreme discipline, or superhuman motivation. It was the result of a system—one built on mindset, identity, and repeatable habits.
I had rebuilt myself by focusing on how the brain drives behavior, not by fighting it with willpower. This was the foundation of what would become Second Prime Strength.
The Core Problem
I realized that most men over 40 don't fail because they're weak or undisciplined. They fail because they're trying to change their lives using the same habits, environments, and identity that created the problem in the first place.
Programs focus on what to do—but almost never on who you need to become to sustain it.
Second Prime Strength was created to solve that problem.
NeuroStrength Methodology
At its core, Second Prime Strength is built on what I define as neurostrength—the practical application of neuroplasticity to strength, nutrition, and lifestyle change. By using consistency, daily habit stacking, identity-based goals, and intentional structure, the brain can be rewired to support long-term health instead of sabotage it.
When the mind changes, the body follows.
This isn't about chasing a past version of yourself. It's about building a stronger, more disciplined, more resilient version—one that fits the realities of life after 40.
A second prime isn't accidental. It's engineered through daily actions, clear goals, and accountability.
Second Prime Strength exists to give men the structure I once lacked, the guidance that changed my life, and the belief that their strongest years are not behind them—but still ahead.
